YuWellnes Telepsychiatry Terms of Use
Effective date: October 28, 2026
These Terms of Use govern your use of yuwellnes.com, operated by YuWellnes Telepsychiatry.
Contact us at YuWellnes Telepsychiatry, 5300 Town and Country Blvd, Suite 240, Frisco, TX 75034. You can also call or text (602) 633-4667 or (602) 633-4655. Our hours are Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m., and Saturday from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
By using this website, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the website.
1. What this website is, and is not
This website provides general information about YuWellnes Telepsychiatry and a way to request a free 15-minute consultation or contact us with questions.
YuWellnes provides psychiatric evaluations and medication management, with a focus on adult ADHD, anxiety, depression, and insomnia. Care is provided virtually across Arizona, Colorado, Delaware, Iowa, Kansas, Montana, New Mexico, New York, Texas, Vermont, and Washington, and in person at our Frisco, Texas office every Saturday.
The website itself is not medical care, and information on it is educational only. It is not medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment, and it is not a substitute for professional care. Browsing this website, sending us a message, or requesting a consultation does not by itself create a clinician-patient relationship. That relationship, if established, begins through our intake process and as described in the documents you receive at that time.
2. Emergencies
This website is not for emergencies. If you are experiencing a medical or mental health emergency, call 911 or go to your nearest emergency department. In the United States, you can also call or text 988 for the Suicide and Crisis Lifeline. Do not wait for a reply from us through this website in an emergency.
3. Eligibility and where you must be located for care
To receive telehealth care from YuWellnes, you must be physically located in a state where our clinician is licensed to practice at the time of your visit. The states listed in Section 1 are the states where virtual care is currently offered. If you move, travel, or will be in a different state for a visit, tell us before the visit so we can confirm whether care can proceed.
We work with adults ages 18 and older.
You must provide accurate information about your identity and location for care, and you must join telehealth visits from a private location where you can speak freely and will not be overheard, unless you tell your clinician otherwise.
4. Telehealth, benefits, limits, and consent
Telehealth care is provided by secure online sessions. By requesting telehealth care, you understand that telehealth has limits, including possible technology failures, audio and video quality issues, and limits on physical examination. You are responsible for having a suitable device, internet connection, and private setting for your visit. If telehealth is not appropriate for your needs, or if an in-person evaluation or emergency care is needed, your clinician may recommend a different setting. Separate telehealth consent forms may be provided at intake, and those forms, together with our Notice of Privacy Practices, govern your care.
We will help you understand the practical details before you decide what comes next, as described on the website.
5. Appointments and the free consultation
You may book a free 15-minute consultation online through our booking link, or call or text (602) 633-4667 or (602) 633-4655 with questions. We aim to respond within 3 hours during business hours, as stated on the website.
Booking is provided through a third-party scheduling provider, currently OptiMantra. That provider's own terms apply to your use of its scheduling site, in addition to these terms.
To cancel or reschedule, please call or text us as soon as possible at (602) 633-4667 or (602) 633-4655.
6. Insurance and payment
The website lists insurers we currently accept, including Carelon, Anthem, Empire, Aetna, Cigna, Optum, and BCBS. Acceptance of an insurer does not guarantee coverage for any particular service, and coverage depends on your plan, benefits, and authorization requirements. You are responsible for understanding your benefits and for any amounts not covered by insurance.
If you have questions about insurance or cost before you book, contact us at (602) 633-4667 or (602) 633-4655.
7. Communications by phone and text
By providing your phone number and contacting us, or by asking us to contact you, you consent to receive calls and texts from us about appointments and practice communications at that number, as permitted by law. Standard message and data rates may apply. Text and ordinary email are not secure methods for sharing detailed health information, so please use the secure methods we direct you to for health, insurance, or payment information.
8. Acceptable use
You agree to use the website lawfully and not to use the website for any unlawful purpose, attempt to interfere with the website's operation or security or access areas you are not authorized to access, copy, reproduce, or use website content, logos, or materials except for personal, non-commercial viewing unless we give you written permission, or submit false, misleading, or impersonating information through any contact or booking form.
We may restrict or block access to the website if use violates these terms or applicable law.
9. Intellectual property
All content on this website, including text, graphics, logos, images, and videos, is owned by YuWellnes or its licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may view and print pages for personal use only. No other use is permitted without our prior written consent.
10. Third-party links and services
This website links to third-party sites and services, including our booking provider and social media pages. We do not control those sites, and we are not responsible for their content, privacy practices, or availability. Use of a third-party site is governed by that site's own terms.
11. Disclaimers
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, this website and its content are provided as is and as available, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the website will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses, or that any particular treatment outcome will result from care.
Testimonials or patient comments, if shown on the website, reflect individual experiences and do not guarantee similar results.
12. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, YuWellnes will not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, this website. Our total liability for website use will not exceed the amount, if any, you paid to use the website. Nothing in this section limits liability that cannot be limited by law, or liability for care itself, which is governed by applicable law and the documents provided at intake.
13. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules, except where federal law or the law of the state where care is provided requires otherwise.
14. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The effective date above will change when we do, and the updated terms will be posted on this website. Continued use of the website after an update means you accept the updated terms.
15. Contact
